  Before looking to buy one of these I was wondering if i'm making the right choice. I drive probably 90% motorway journeys and usually at a steading 70 mph. I'm hoping to get around 60mpg from this car ? Is it possible ? If not I'll probably look to an older 320d. Cheers

  Hi, I have snapped the edge off my rear light casing (by reversing into a skip on my drive-plonker!) The bulbs still work and the plastic over the bulb area is intact except for a crack. Will it need to be replaced to get through it's Mot next week? Thanks, Mike.

  Hi just wondering if i can couple a bigger engine to my standard gearbox. Or do i have to replace the lot. also will a 5speed box connec straight to my drive shafts? header made less vague

  I hear this evening on the news this evening that the authorities who run the QE 2 bridge at the Dartford crossing are discontinuing the service that they have been providing of supplying a driver for those who are unable to drive across themselves because they are terrified of heights. They have apparent supplied this service since the bridge opened I guess there's always the Blackwall tunnel, (unless of course you are claustrophobic) :-)

  I did a sorn for my car as i was selling it and have now lost my job as my company car is going back so i need to use my peugeot, it still has tax on it as i did not send it back so do i need to inform the dvla to un declare the sorn or can i just drive it. I cannot find any information anywhere. slt

  I need to replace a drive shaft on this car so i'm going to have to drain the transmission fluid. I understand you have to top it up through the dipstick tube? Is this correct and how slow does this make the job? Thanks.

  Now I have a black car, and all other cars seem to be black! The question is, if all other cars appear to be the same colour as the one you drive, where are all the other colours........doh! Think I need to lie down for a while.

  http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/8090559.stm I saw this, and noticed that nowhere did it mention that these scams draw people in by offering cars at way below typical prices, relying on buyers' greed to drive the deal forwards. Invariably the "car" is not in the UK - who in their right mind pays for a car (£15,000 in the case of the buyer shown) that they have not seen/driven?

  i have a astra 2.2 sri and there is an intermittant whining coming from the rear of the car. i am almost certain it is the near side. it seems to be when we are slowing down de accelarating and driving off has anyone else had a problem? much appreciated.

  I change my battery two months ago and the abs indicator since then was on all the time when I am driving. Would appreciate some advise how to sort this out, thanks for reading.

  Last week I used the air conditioning for about 15-20 minutes whilst driving from town back home. The journey was about 5 miles. How much extra petrol would I have used because of using the air conditioning ?

  hi my little fiesta has a problem.When you start her she revs very low and some times stalls,when you put down the excelerator she revs iraticly.She seems to drive not bad. sorry forgot to ad she is a 1997 1.25 auto.Can any one help please

  Have the flashing glow plug light and following your guide get a fault code of r 0206. Any idea what that is and if its okay to drive until I can get it fixed. Car done 46,000 miles.

  For reasons too boring to go into I am forced to drive a Corsa C all weekend. It is the Comfort model, but it is proving rather uncomfortable at the mo, cos I can't work out how to change the position of the steering wheel. Is it possible to adjust the wheel rake on this model?

  There is a news item on the right, "ASA rules in favour of Smart car". It revolves around whether a Smart car could drive from London to Edingurgh on a single tank of fuel. The ASA has now allowed the claim by Mercedes-Benz to stand. Isn't ther a very simple way of proving - or otherwise - the validity of this claim?

  Collected the Mondeo Titanium on thursday which i am absolutely delighted with, seems very well made and drives and handles brilliant also a good range of toys and the sony rad/cd player is fantastic, fingers crossed i hope it turns out to be better than HAT unless i just dropped on a bad one.

  I am having problems with my engine cutting out while driving. All of a sudden its like my engine isn't getting gas or something. I don't think its missing but maybe. Could it be a fuel injector going out? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  My daughter was turning left - indicating - from the nearside lane to enter her drive across a cycle path when a moped coming from behind hit her - her fault of course. By good fortune the rider was OK except a graze. The rider has agreed that my daughter pay for the damage to his machine.
