Supersonic car to take centre stage at NEC show 17 Oct 2016 (News)

This uses a lithium ion battery and two electric motors mounted at the back, giving two modes - hybrid fuel economy mode and hybrid performance mode. The XAV-Adventure has something called the 3S-CUBE system. This includes a special sensing device, which together with a smart motion control system, electric air suspension and ‘stereo vision’, monitors the road conditions and adjusts the suspension for optimised ride comfort. -

Frankfurt Motor Show 2015: Ford launches leaner Ranger with 43.5mpg 15 Sep 2015 (News)
The updated Ranger will go on sale in the Autumn and reach showrooms in January 2016. Ford claims to have cut the Ranger’s fuel consumption by 17 per cent, with significant gains made by recalibrating the gearbox ratios and introducing engine start/stop technology as standard. This means the 2.2 TDCi engine now produces 160PS and returns 43.5mpg with 171g/km CO2 – a huge gain over the previous 36.2 mpg and 206g/km CO2 in the outgoing model. -

The Visa might have seemed an odd car to make into a hot hatch, being a quirky five-door. But Citroen disagreed, equipping its new GTi with the very same fuel-injected 1.6 four-pot as the 205 GTi.
