  • Icons ready for Cholmondeley Pageant of Power 9 Jun 2015 (News)
Three iconic classics have been brought together to promote this year’s Cholmondeley Pageant of Power. The cars – a Lotus Evora GTE, Ferrari Testarossa, and Ford Mustang – neatly tie-up the event’s key themes . On Friday, CPOP will celebrate Lotus with a parade featuring an example of every Lotus ever made, including new models such as the Evora GTE. On Saturday, Cholmondeley will pay homage to the poster cars of the Eighties, such as the Ferrari Testarossa.  And on Sunday, crowds will be treated to the rumbling sound of many V8s with a celebration of US muscle cars, including icons like the Ford Mustang GT 390.  James Hall, event director said he was excited to be returning the pageant’s roots with a power-themed weekend across land, air and water. Hall said, ‘The great range of cars assembled here represent just a small selection of the varied content set to appear across the weekend.’ Organisers have also released a new video showing highlights on track, on the lake, in the air and on stage of the past seven years, giving a true feel for what the event is about.

The seller says it has been checked over, but you’ll need to satisfy yourself that the repair work has been done to a high standard.
