  I then switch to HEV mode, move the gear lever to 'sport' which enables me to use 6th gear pretty much the whole time whilst on the motorway. On normal (flattish) motorwars, with the aircon on the car automatically recharges the battery at the rate of up to 1 mile per 10 run. Once the battery is recharged to 35-36 miles, I switch back to electric until the battery reading goes down to approx 15 miles and then I repeat the process.

  I've noticed what seems like an occasional misfire on my 2013 Corsa 1.4 SE Automatic. A few months ago, I'd notice an occasional slight knock/bang and the revs would momentarily fall slightly and then go back to normal. Now the weather is a lot hotter, I've noticed when pulling away when the engine is hot the engine bangs quite a bit with the same slight drop in revs.

  However, now the indicators and wipers are working the car wont start. If you turn the ignition key it wont crank at all. The P on the automatic gearbox is flashing which has never happened before. I override the gearbox and moved between the drive, neutral etc and with each switch the corresponding letter was flashing. I have disconnected the battery and cleaned the terminals but still nothing.
