  My Suzuki SX4's steering has a habit of wandering when motorway driving. Would fitting all weather tyres help to reduce this?

  Hi all would like ppl a views on these cars I can't decide. Looking a decent spec (msport or s line) around 13 plate. I'm aware the 5 series was face lifted around this time. My thoughts are the bmw is a bit dated inside and the A6 wins hand down on the interior. Outside I don't think there is much in it.

  Have around £10,000 to spend on a premium comfortable used vehicle. Have been considering an S Class but concerned that maintenance and any repair bills will be astronomical. Fuel consumption is not a concern. Does anyone have any guidance as to what would be a good used buy? The main criteria is comfort, smooth ride and a reliable auto box and ideally a car that will not cost its purchase price in repair bills.

  Now, I've been looking at sealants here (http://www.johncraddockltd.co.uk/search/results.html?s=sealants&sb=Search) but don't really have a clue which one to get, or if this is even the solution.   It's over 15 years old now and getting harder and harder to maintain sadly.

  The car is shod with three Haida 225/65R17 102H and one on the rear nearside which is a Continental 225/65R17 102T M+S. This is a bad mix anyway I suspect but can any one suggest a quieter tyre please or do I turn up the radio ? Cheers Kevin

But the bit that is interesting is that if you exceed the "tolerances" you get a speeding ticket.

  After three Roomster Tdi's we have arrived at a hiatus, the 1.6TDi excellent except a lack of grunt. We love the space and comfort of the TDi but the latest iterration lacks the 1.9's power despite Skoda's claims of 105hp. Can we break the chain and buy something with the same space within a small car but with more urge? Would the Honda CRV Diesel be more satisfying or maybe a VAG htach with 140hp be a better idea?

  i have a Citroen Xantia Feb 1999 hdi....great car but it go's into limp mode on a run.....around town it is fine...but on a run it go's to 2000 revs after about a hours drive and that's it ... ...also the light on the dash comes on with a picture of an engine....if i stop and turn it off and restart its ok again. any ideas s

  Hi there i have had this problem with my audi for 4 weeks now it boosts up to 2000 revs and then just gos into a sort of limp mode it is reving but really go,s slow i have to stop the car and turn it off restart and all is good i have had it on a diagnostic machine and it is saying it is over boosting i have change the EGR valve but it is still happening can any body help ???

  on the other hand they are reluctant to come on when its dull and raining making them feel useless is the sensor faulty or is this a problem with auto lights as my old mondeo,s auto lights were not much better,also is it possible to tighten the rear view mirror as it shakes when driving as speed

  The steering does not self centralise when turning at corners or roundabouts.After putting car on a lift we disconnected both track rod ends both road wheels turned to & fro with no resistance felt. after checking knuckle joints which were free. After fitting a s/hand steering rack which did not cure the problem. Any 1 any ideas on this please Best Regards Mickeybo

  My wife is torn between a 2007 1.4 SE Jazz (20k miles) and a 2009 i10 Comfort (24k miles).  She does a daily commute of 40 miles (A roads).  She thinks the i10's boot is too small for the weekly shop, I told he just to drop the back seat down!.  Can someone please help with some advice, she won't listern to me.   My S-Type has 5 billion watt Xenon's fitted to it, the 406 was upgraded to similar bulbs years ago so its been a while since i've been in a car at night with normal lights. The other night i was a passenger in my girlfriends S40 with normal lights and i couldnt believe how rubbish normal headlights are on your typical unlit dual carraigeway.
