  2013 Citroen C1. Approx 78K. Recently had rear exhaust silencer replaced. When car is at roundabout and or taking off while I am going from 1st to 2nd I am getting a flickering intermittent STOP car red light on dashboard.

  But their choice of basic cars is limited to the Polo/Ibiza with the gutless three cylinder1.2 which really struggles up hills and at junctions. So leaning towards a basic Citroen C3 1.2 Puretech. But is there anything to choose between these ? I intend to do a bit of travelling so your views would be welcome.

  Hi i have a 2003 citroen relay 2.2 hdi. Its the 8valve peugeot engine. Since owning it the van has felt like the timing is retarded. Problem I have is the flywheel does not have a timing hole. It appears to be an aftermarket job.

  I currently drive a 2007 Citroen C5 Exclusive with Xenon headlamps (the self levelling ones that look round corners when you turn the steering wheel). Im going to France in the Summer and was wondering what happens about converting the lamps to allow driving on the right.

  i have a 2009 citroen c3 with a 1.1 engine recently when starting the car first thing it would revv upto about 2500 - 3000 rpm and then drop down also the heater was blowing cold, i have had it on a modis scanner and it says the rpm is at 2000+ even when its dropped back to idle, and the oil and coolant temp is constantly at -40 degrees so i changed the coolant temp sensor and this has made no differace any help would be apperciated thanks mike

  Hi, The car is a 2005 Citroen Xsara Picasso with 80k miles. I am planning to get the front shock absorbers replaced and I am asking advice whether to replace the top suspension mounting as well. The same amount of labour, although the parts cost extra.

  I have a citroen relay lab 57 2.2 van I started it the other day and went down the road the van was misfiring and vibrating so I stopped the van to look around for oil under engine etc but decided to go back to the yard when I got back the engine stopped and will not start now don't know what happened can anyone help or had this happen to them is it help

  hi left the car in to a citroen dealer with a hyd fluid leak from suspension ,they checked it out and told me it was the hyd pump and would cost me 1600e for parts and labour after 2 weeks fitted new pump now it has i burst hyd pipe and would cost me another 600e to fix this and another week, now im thinking that it was not the pump in the first place How could i check this out before i pay this bill now of 2200e please help.

  I've seen a nice one with high spec, low insurance and 89k with full Citroen service history. Its £1100 and on a 51Y plate. Its sold at a garage with warranty. Is this a good potential buy? What do I need to look out for? i dfo about 2-3k a year so the engine really only needs to last another 20k or something.

  I have noticed i have a metal rattle noise from the rear suspension area when going over rough ground have checked for anything loose and found nothing obviouse. The car is a 2002 Citroen C5 2.2HDI estate, has anyone got any idea what it could be and a description where to look/remedy? Any and all help will be appreciated.

  I recently lent a friend my '02 Citroen C5, Petrol, to be driven on a long journey to Scotland. The 12V socket had an ipod plugged into it and after about 45 min of driving it refused to go above 35mph and eventually the battery light came on.

  Have a citroen berlingo VT HDI 7weeks old and the exhaust has started rattling, it is going back to the garage for a repair --but the annoying thing about this car is a whine upon accelerating , it sounds like when a siren far off first comes to your notice.

  I bought a replacement case from ebay which was fine but it then became clear that one of the tiny 'microswitches' on the pcb had also broken. The question is, is she now faced with having to go to Citroen for a new key at no doubt huge expense or is there an easier and cheaper solution? Many Thanks, Stuart

  hi iv got a citroen picasso 51 plate wen i put the air conditioning on it blows cold but not as cold as it should i think,my friends car blows ice cold air,i think it needs re gasin any ideas anyone if thats the case you can buy the gas from halfords is it an hard job and were is the gas bottle thanks glyn.............
• Citroen C5 (2001 - 2008) - 05 1.6 Oil Block and blown turbo 2 May 2009 (Forum)
  I have had 3 blown turbo chargers since Christmas. I am using a local garage who specialises in Citroen. Last time he repaired he found an oil block to the turbo charge in a banjo valve. Block was cleared and new turbo fitted. 2K miles later and the same blackage has occured. Anybody have any ideas what may be causing this?

  My Citroen Synergie HDi has thrown it's under engine tray (plastic) on the M5, and I'm half thinking "Is it actually worth replacing?" Does anyone have an opinion on these strange and wobbly bits of plastic under our cars?
