  He currently runs a Honda Jazz but wants something a bit bigger (capacity) to carry his stage stuff. He drives about 25k miles a year. Any reccomendations - budget up to £10k?

  i drove to the park today and the car was fine but when we got back in to drive home the instrumental panel wasn't working - so no movement on speedo, revs, fuel and temp gauges.  everything else was working - is this a fuse probem or sometheng else?  all help gratefully received!

  I currently have a  I .6   Astra but do a fair amount of motorway driving so was thinking about a I.8 Focus. Are there substantial advantages in the I.8 over the I.6?

  Hi I have just brought a nissan micra 2003 and it won't lock, drives fine but the lock on the fob and the button by the handbrake don't work, there is no noise when pressing the button, any ideas what it could be would be great thanks

  Hi At my last MOT I was given an advisory with regard to wear in the Wishbone/Anti-roll bar bushes. I can hear no clunking etc front the front of the vehicle when driving over rough ground. Any thoughts on this matter please !

  Car cut out when driving. When I tried to restart it,both the green and red lights came on together and won't start. Mechanic and auto-electrician have had a look at it,no mechanical faults showing on diagnostics. They have tried resetting code and also disconnected battery and reconnected but to no avail.

  Hi all.I have a 53plate Toyota Avensis and whilst I'm driving along I can hear a rapid clicking noise. When I push the clutch pedle down it stops until I release the pedle when the noise returns. Anyone know what this could be please.

  Can anyone explain to me why someone would break into a car and steal the airbag from the steering wheel??  I would understand it if they had tried to drive the car away and needed to remove certain parts of the steering column but they took the actual bag??  Confused!

  Filled up in Devon (almost empty tank) and fuel economy has dropped from 52mpg down to 39. Same journeys, same driving style, more or less the same conditions. {made non make/model specific}

  Driving home this afternoon the battery warning light came on and the car lost all power coming to a stop. I re-started the car OK and drove the remaining half mile home without any warning light or problems.

  Mine's has to be a three year old lada i had about twelve years ago, only paid £280 for it, never gave me any trouble and sold it 18 months later for £350. i have to admit i actually liked driveing it, is that sad or what.

  Gauge is on cold always now when driving and will not go to normal only when stuck in traffic goes to three quarters hot then slowly back to cold. Plenty of coolant and no leaks,am i heading for trouble?

  my sat nav will warn me if i overspeed, but my nokia phone with sat-nav functioning allows me to set  the amount over the limit and then warns me whatever road i am driving on, brilliant! so helps keeping those points off my licence.

  Ive not had chance to have a good look yet but wodered of any known faults? Noticed mention of the CTS, but anything else? Doesnt missfire when driving, just rough idle asif missing Cars a 2001 Leon 1.4 with 70k on Cheers

  Discussion on radio this morning about parking tickets handed out for rediculous reasons. A qualified driving instruction stated that it is NOT illegal to park across a driveway and is termed an inconvenience. I thought it could be classed as an obstruction and hence the police could arrange for the vehicle to be towed away.

  I can hear it from the drivers seat and it gets faster with revs but when i listen in the engine bay I cant hear it. I thought it would be a drive belt or something but id hear that in the engine bay. Any ideas
