Where are all the deals going? 1 Feb 2023 (Forum)
:) I almost purchase a nice 09 Honda Jazz from a nice chap from France who had "all the paperwork in his name" and after spending £10 on HPI check and £50 on rail fares and 2hrs each way turned out to be a Romanian guy with a a car registered to some African guy who was not even present, a V5C missing part and the lies piled up very quickly. I am open to many makes and models, leaning toward japanese due to reliability and trying to stay under ££220/yr of tax. I welcome any comments and suggestions. -

Focus Elle - Insurance fiasco - just having a rant 31 Jul 2011 (Forum)
But what has really got my goat bigtime is the blatant lies I am given from various members of staff from the insurance company and I got a different story from a different person EVERY DAY. They have asked me to send original MOT, insurance certificate! and V5C - I am probably a numpty but why can't they get off their butt and check with the DVLC? I have scanned and sent them via email for now. I am still waiting for an offer and I understand I won't get a cent until they have my original documents. -
