FIAT Doblo (2001 - ) - 1.3 Multijet - comments/opinons 20 Jan 2008 (Forum)
What are they like to drive power wise? Handling? How reliable are they? I read CBC so am avoiding the 1.9. Any owners here? I looked at the Berlingo but it seems to have a longish list of potential issues and Im not up for that! -
Small automatic i.e Corsa and Fiesta size 11 Nov 2007 (Forum)

M25/M11 vs A505 7 Sep 2007 (Forum)
I will be driving from Reading to Duxford tomorrow. It's many years since I've been there and I remember the A505 as a great road in the right car. Is that still the case? Or is it subject to 40 and 50 mph speed limits so taking away the pleasure so making the motorway the better journey? -
Litter bugs 3 Sep 2007 (Forum)
Carrying on from the scotland thread and loopy drivers, can anyone explain to me why people would drive to an area of outstanding beauty ,have a picnic wrap their rubbish in a supermarket carrier bag and then throw it out of the car window? I just cannot get my head round the fact they can actually do this. -
Hoodies and headscarves 21 Aug 2007 (Forum)
I've always been wary of women wearing religious headgear, as it is damn obviousl that their peripheral vision is shot. These days I notice more and more Yoof wearing "hoodies" while driving - and those things have got cowls like the Grim Reaper's! All-round vision must be reduced by 60%... -
Fairer Parking Enforcement? 27 Jul 2007 (Forum)
To improve consistency, for the first time local authorities outside London will be able to issue PCNs by post when camera evidence is available or when parking attendants are prevented from serving notices by violence or driving away!" I don't view that as an improvement. In fact many of the measures there represent yet another attack on motorists. -

Astra 1.7dti Fuel Pump whine 26 Apr 2007 (Forum)
My high mileage Astra 1.7dti (2000W) seems to have started making a high pitched whine when the engine is just idling. I think it is coming from the fuel pump. It disappears as soon as I start driving. Is this anything to worry about? Thanks for any advice -
Oil level / pressure, HJ in the DT 15 Apr 2007 (Forum)
Ref the guy with the Mazda who's oil light came on, he checked the level and carried on driving subsequently wrecking the engine, HJ was not sympathetic though perhaps could have even more clearly pointed out that the light is for oil pressure on NOT oil level and if in doubt RTFM !!!!!!!!!!!!! -

Peugeot 206 problem! 17 Mar 2007 (Forum)
Hi all I have a Pug 2056 and when I drive it after a while the engine revs up of its own accord. Sometimes when I stop at traffic lights the engine just cuts out. Is this an accelerator or timing problem? Any help would be most appreciated. -

road tax 14 Jan 2007 (Forum)
I know its an old old chestnut but why don't we scrap all this road tax and pricing and just tax fuel? If you don't drive much then you save, if you have a guzzler you might lose but there would be no tax dodgers and you have some freedom on how much fuel to use. -
Nissan Micra - problems? 8 Dec 2006 (Forum)
Hi, I am thinking of buying a 1998 1 litre Micra. It has done 60k. It looks fairly tidy and drives and stops well. There is a little rust on the sills. Is there anything specific I should be looking at, either from your own experiences or things you have heard about? Thanks Johnny -
Repair or Upgrade? 2 Nov 2006 (Forum)
Driving round the M25 (near J19, I think) I saw the reason for the roadworks were stated as "bridge parapet upgrade". I wonder if anyone knows what sort of upgrade we can expect. Is this spin for "repairs" or will we be seeing some magnificent architectural improvement - perhaps in the Art Deco style? -
Fiesta Mk6 Suspension Knock 8 Oct 2006 (Forum)
Everytime I drive over a raised bump or sleeping policeman, I get a hollow knock from the front, happens on both sides, had it checked at my local ford dealership and they said it was OK. Anyone have the same problem or know what it might be, only done 12,000 miles.
