  • FIAT Grande Punto - Revoked licence 25 May 2010 (Forum)
Surely if one department thinks I am safe to work, but another does not think I am safe to drive its a poor show.  My suspicion is that it is the interpretation of the report that has lead to the misunderstanding.  In the meantime if I can not get to work (which I can't without driving) then I will lose my job.

  • Peugeot 206 hatchback (1998 - 2006) - 02 2.0 Anti Pollution Fault 29 Dec 2009 (Forum)
1st off hi to everyone, i've used this site a couple of times for info but thought now's the time to register and air a problem i've got. • Ford S-MAX (2006 - ) - Auto v Manual - running costs etc. 14 Nov 2009 (Forum)
This isn't massive, but it isn't peanuts either. What is the actual reality of these mpg's? Is it actually quite difficult to drive a manual at the quoted mpg, and with normal driving actually get better mpg than quoted with the Auto? With my green hat on, the lower emissions, better mpg etc. is making me lean toward the manual despite preferring the auto...

  • Ford Mondeo III (2000 - 2007) - 03 1.8 Steering Noise 30 Apr 2009 (Forum)
Could there be a bearing (or something) that is 'sticking' but once freed-off is ok, until the next time the car has been standing for a period of time? Could the power steering pump be on its way out? Under normal driving conditions, the car steers and drives perfectly well with no unusual noises. The power steering fluid is at the maximum mark and I've not needed to top it up since I've had the car (bought it 3 months ago).
