Changing to a crossover

I drive an Audi A4 TDI 130SE (2002 owned from new) and do approx 14K per year, I am thinking of an SUV with higher driving position, but not a full-sized 4x4.

Please can you put in order what you would advise from this list (all diesel), I want comfort, reliability and low running costs:

Ford Kuga, Hyundai ix35, Mitsubishi ASX, Nissan Qashqai (1.6D), Audi Q3.

Qashqai (1.6DCI 130), Kuga, IX35 (1.7D), ASX, Q3

Q3 still an unknown, undriven quantity.

Qashqai top because it has the best, most advanced engine with fast warm technology.
