After looking on here and other forums, I thought the problem could be a brief loss of power or earth from the battery as it has had to go a few revs before starting on cold mornings, and the battery to be honest looked a little knackered and was an easy fix, so I tried swapping that for another but no joy (bit of a long shot anyway). -

Just over a year later I noticed sometimes the car would be flat for no aparent reason every couple of weeks which became more & more freaquent. During this time the Alternator seemed to be charging the battery until at it eventually died. I took it to my local garage & explained the history & about the Smart Charge etc which I'm pretty sure they completely ignored & said it'll just be the alternator so chucked another one in. -

Today, (after disconnecting the negative battery cable first), I managed to dismantle some framework and various bolts, (as I couldn't work out how to unclip the connector...I worked it out by finding one in the open...easy...push the clip inwards,) to gain access to the connectors, and cleaned the crank sensor sockets and replace the crank sensor cable and connect it to the sensor socket, and put the number one spark lead on, and everything is still fluctuating, and stalling at junctions. -
