  Hi, Wonder if anyone can help me with some advice. I am looking to buy a comfortable automatic car for under £2000 pref under 90k miles with max tax £180/year. I plan to drive a long distance commute by the end of the year as I am moving out of London and will drive in for work.

  A couple of days ago (2 weeks after this service|) my car started to rev really high before changing gear (my car is automatic) and as I got to a junction and after hearing a loud noise, it wouldn't move at all. I called the RAC and they linked my car up to their computer and it picked up that there was low pressure in the gear box due to low oil.

  MPG, it looks like you can expect only about 35-40mpg on the automatic, I get 48 on mine however with the auto I might just have to take the hit, under real mpg the diesel has 41.2 vs 36.2 for Petrol, maybe I should consider Petrol? Advice would be much appreciated as i've been going round in circles trying to make a decision!

  That's what I got from the Micra 2013. Any other subjections on a choice for a nearly new car with a +50 mpg in automatic with few of the plus mention above? Thanks TB

  I am baffled as its an automatic and it seems strange to cut out. I have taken it to ford where I bought it from twice now, the first time the said they changed some part on it and it wouldn't happen again, few weeks down the line it did it again.
