  Every time I remove the key from the ignition I find that the next time the key is inserted, Siemens CDR 500 radio asks me to re-enter the radio's code. It is a real PITA to do this each time I might want to listen to the radio but I am not sure where to start looking for the solution. My first thought was that a fuse had blown but according to the radio's manual, the radio fuse is in slot 19.

  Hi guys.  Can someone please help.  Had my clutch sorted and now I can't use the radio.  I bought the car 2nd hand without the manual, only the service book was in the car.  I took the radio out and tried the number that someone wrote on the radio, but it doesn't work.  The serial no of the radio is M238311 and the code written on it is 1624, I've even tried to enter the number from back to front, no luck.

  Replacement radios on eBay do not come with a code and they recommend contacting a specialist. There is no code in my cars handbook for the original radio. Will I need one if I disconnect the radio power source or replace with a second hand unit.

  I have a 2004 Vectra C with a fault on the factory fit radio, the radio turns on and shows to radio station or cd track palying however there is no sound coming out of the system.... can anyone advise if it is a fault on the head unit or another component and where it is located ???????????

  The car is an Escort Estate 2000my.TD; Radio is a Ford 5000 radio/casette. Problem-Radio works fine on FM-reception is excellent,RDS/EON work fine but when you change to LW all you get is heavy interference-turn off the engine,it works OK,but the noise is not speed-related-anyone got ideas?
