BMW - 525 Fuel Pressure 10 Mar 2008 (Forum)
Hi Guys, Anyone know what the approximate fuel system pressure is on a bmw 525 or a Vauxhall Senator 3.0 24v? Basically i'm looking for what pressure a Bosch Motronic system would typically have! I'm guessing around 3 Bar? Cheers chaps. Jon -

BMW 3 series headlight washers 9 Nov 2006 (Forum)
I have recently had to pay my local BMW dealer to repair a water leak from the nearside headlight washer. This proved to be expensive. Now the offside is leaking. Is it an easy job to repair/replace the parts or would I be well advised to swallow hard and book the car in to the dealer to repair? -

BMW 320d? 12 Jul 2006 (Forum)
New job means need to buy a car. Have about 8k to spend, and will be doing upwards of 20k miles a year. Had settled on a BMW 320d, which can pick up for 7.5k with 66k miles on clock. However, research has suggested various horror stories about turbo failure. Any advice welcome. Cheers Tim -
New A6 2.0 TDi or BMW 520d? 15 Jun 2006 (Forum)
Right getting a company car and have narrowed the choices down to either an A6 2.0 Tdi or BMW 520d. Have driven both and the Audi seems better suited but I like the look of the 5 series. Have until Wednesday 12 noon by the way. Thanks -

BMW re-gassing. 17 May 2005 (Forum)
My BiL needs to re-gas the Air Con on my old 3 series...he has had an offer from a BMW dealer to have it done for £94.00 including gas and VAT. Is this a good deal ?. Apparantly the menu price is in the region of £164.00. Would he better getting quotes from an indie? -

BMW 5 Series F10 - BMW purchased with Recall notice 5 Mar 2019 (Forum)
I have tried to reason with the seller to provide me £150 for my cost of additional insurance for the hire car, provide me a free service and extended warranty of 3 months, when I get car back from BMW, he refused all. I admit the car does not show up in the DVLA recall search, when checking there, but it took BMW exactly 5 minutes to tell me this. And this dealer shop claimed he had worked for BMW for almost 20 year before he started his own dealership. -

BMW Steering/Suspension Alignment 25 Oct 2005 (Forum)
This is further to the discussions we have had on the value of having a franchised dealership carry out steering and suspension checks on BMWs. I had heard that ATS do a very good job of 'tracking' so I asked the local branch if they could check and set my 1992 BMW 525. They apologised and said that it had to be done by a BMW dealer. I asked why and was told that BMWs and Mercedes are upmarket cars that need special treatment. -
BMW 1 Series - Bmw 1 series auto - worst driving position ever ! 14 Jun 2019 (Forum)
I’ve not driven a floor pivot accelerator car before with such a low position before, that’s all I can think of as have driven autos , other bmw’s And low lying cars before and never had this much discomfort . I most be the only person who genuinely can’t wait for an Astra instead of a BMW ! I will miss the lovely IDrive system and gearbox, but not it’s driving position. -
BMW 5 Series - 2017 5 Series Review 30 Nov 2016 (Forum)
One thing I wish journalists would stop saying about BMW is that their cars are always evolutionary. That is a well known fact in the motor industry that BMW evolve and just continue to make things better rather than start from scratch. A colleague of mine worked for BMW in Munich and it was standard practice. -

E90 BMW 320Si guages in dash 12 Sep 2006 (Forum)
Hi BR's I've just taken delivery of my new company car - a BMW 320Si and have been driving around for the last week running her in. (1000 miles in 5 days) I've come across a few oddities. They may be common knowledge to other E90 BMW owners but as its my first company car/BMW/new car please excuse my ignorance. 1) There is no temperature guage in the dash - The handbook informs me that there is a warning light in the event of the engine overheating! -
