  With 15% off a new Volvo, financially Volvo looks to be the better deal. Is 15% a good reduction in this current climate and would the Volvo be as good as the Tiguan in the snow as I live in a rural area, Any advice ?

  Volvo have been working with SimBin a Swedish gaming company to create a free to download game for Volvo as written about this weekend in the Telegraph. It is to promote the new Volvo S60 due next year giving the opportunity to 'drive' the car around a pair of tracks.

  Can anyone confirm, or other wise that a Lambda Sensor for a 1993 Volvo 245 SE B200F is the same at the Volvo 440 2.0L. The cable length, threads and connectors are the same but do they have the same characteristics. Thanks Peter

  Anyone know how to change Volvo Xenon lights from Righthand drive so they can be used in mainland Europe. Not in the manual and Volvo dealer does not know!! Had an Omega and it was a simple switch in the back of the light. Ideas welcome.

• Volvo S60 (2000 - 2009) - Volvo or Toyota 4 Feb 2009 (Forum)
  Cost £15700 or thereabouts (with £2800 trade in for our current car (the saving is about £6k). Other option is a June 08 Volvo S80 2.4D SE lux in dark grey, geartronic. The Toyota has the advantage that it's brand new, and being a hatch is more convenient than the boot on the Volvo. The Volvo, however, just feels a bit more special and has a nicer interior.

  I would welcome any comments, advice or suggestions about the following; I have 2003 Volvo XC90 D5 AWD diesel. It has done 60000 miles. It had full Volvo service history when I bought it at 33000 miles in April 2006. I bought it from a Volvo main dealer. I had it serviced at that dealers in March 2007.

  Hi does anybody no a substitute part number for Volvo Special Gearbox Oil 3343922-5? I have the Haynes manual but it says that from 1989 onwards this special Volvo oil needs to be used. What is so special about it and what could be a substitute? Bear in mind the car is now in bangeromics territory so a reasonable cheap alternative is all I am looking for.

  Dear all,   I have a 1997 volvo s70 that runs fine, but needs power steering fluid fluid to be topped up every now and then probably every 2 - 3 months.   A garage changed the steering rack because they said the previous one had been leaking, not sure they have done a good job.

  However, Volvo claim there is no issue and they rely on dealers' reports of customer complaints. Either we do not complain forcibly enough or the dealers and Volvo choose to ignore the issue in fear of bad publicity.

  Hi all, 2 days ago a warning light came on on my 1991 Volvo 940 GLE's dash board. It'a an explanation mark ! Never been on before. Looked in Haynes - does not say what it is. I have the Volvo 940 owners' manual somwehere but i cannot find it. trid the Volvo Owners club - but you have to join {pay!!!!!!}

  One of our cars, a 15 year old Volvo 760 could do with a new sunroof seal. It's just breaking up with old age. I wan to replace it before the winter. Does anyone know of a sensibly priced retail source for these i.e not Volvo themselves?
