But still wouldn't start. I added a gallon of fresh diesel and bled some out of the bottom of the Delphi fuel filter which looked perfect. It fired up for a few seconds then died again. I guess the P0087 & P1113 codes mean a fault in the HP pump, fuel filter, fuel injectors or HP fuel sensor on the common rail. -

The car has been losing power lately. I put some petrol in at an independent petrol retailer, and the mechanic I now use thinks the fuel might have been contaminated. The fuel filter has been changed as a precaution. I ran the fuel tank nearly dry and filled up with BP super unleaded, but it hasn’t made much difference There are not warning lights or codes to go by. -

I have had my 56 plate 2007 car 4 months and it has broken down twice. The problem was the fuel injector and it had to be replaced. Fortunately the VW technichian was a top guy and put the case foward to have it replaced under goodwill other wise it was going to be 800 pounds. Three weeks later my car has broken down again and guess what..same problem.. different injector. -

Xsara Picasso (2006-2007) seem to not have big faults Scenic, I'm just afraid of the fuel consumption as mentionned previously, although there is one Scenic Model 3 with very low mileage too... don't know about them at all... Would someone be able to give me their thoughts on the matter? -
