We live on small close which is reached via a mildly inclined road, but that was enough to defeat the car during the worst of winter 2010/2011. The need for better traction is higher this year, with increased school run activity, and an elderly relative who needs regular assitance. However, we intend to keep running the FR-V for at least another 3 years (great car btw). I have a i.6 zafira 2001 the engine light came on the dash a while ago and i had a friend check the codes with his snapon reader, it came up lamba sensor, hed removed the codes and all seemed to be well a day or two later the engine seemed to be running a little lumpy and the rev counter stopped working also the cooling fan kept running all the time although the engine was not hot at all, then the next day it would not start at all , my friend did another check with his reader but it came up with an error message " conection failed, we tryed several times but cannot seem to connect to ecu , does this mean my ecu is shot? -
