Why is 'Antipollution Fault' causing loss of power?

My car loses power after five minutes of driving.

There is a beep and then an Antipollution Fault appears.

Why does my car lose power after the Antipollution Fault is displayed?

Possibly because the diesel particulate filter is choked up (if the car has one) and the reason for that might be that the Eolys tank is empty or too many short runs from cold starts.
