  • Mercedes for SWMBO 21 Jul 2001 (Forum)
I've driven it, albeit briefly, and I like it a lot. She likes it also and thinks its top (spanish for cool) - mind you, she drives a 4-Runner and thinks thats top as well, so what does she know ! Anybody got one or had experience and got comments ? In particular, is there anything about the RHD (which is what I will buy) that I wouldn't have noticed on LHD (the only ones I have had a good look at or drive of).
  • Peugeot 207 (2006 - ) - A week driving in Portugal 11 Oct 2007 (Forum)
They may be good at getting reduced emissions, but this comes at a serious reduction in performance. Portugal is recommended for a late summer/ early autumn driving hoilday though.

I live at the end of a non-asphalted road and at least once a year have the same problem with a small stone lodging between the brake disc and back plate. I have found that by driving the car a short distance in reverse the stone is sometimes thrown out.
  • 7 Aug 2017 (Forum)
Sorry, having a test drive at one dealer then buying the car for a lesser price elsewhere isnt 'stealing.' Whilst Id have no problem doing face to face negotiations to get a bigger discount, if we were miles apart on prices, Id vote with my feet (and wallet)!

All looks a bit contrived. Hope it was the owner driving it (to cop the prosecution), not some poor employee, it seemed like it although he was in the passenger seat when it was driven away. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/lincolnshire/8388420.stm
