peugeot 106 - engine autodiagnostics light on - greyhound steve

just brought 106 with 52 k 03 plate for my daughter but the engine autodiagnostics light comes on while driving any ideas or is it a case of a visit to the garage.

Lots of ideas,but the only accurate check would be a diagnostic test to see what is going on.So looks like a garage visit.Thankfully these are not too complicated.

There is an alternative. Google "Peugeot Planet Map" and it will take you to a UK map of Peugeot owners with the same diagnostic gear that Peugeot use.

The benefit is that quite often they'll know more than your local dealer, are active members in the online Peugeot community, will be much cheaper (cost of a pint) and won't have a vested interest in fleecing you.
