At the show, Mazda will display its Furai Concept, the raciest interpretation of the Nagare design language to-date and the latest car in Mazda’s award-winning and highly acclaimed series of concept cars. Based on an American Le Mans Series (ALMS) sports racing car, the Furai has a 450hp three-rotor rotary engine initially tuned to operate on 100 per cent ethanol fuel, the first time a racing three-rotor rotary engine has been fuelled in this way. -

MG Car Club hosts successful open day 21 Sep 2015 (News)

Maserati Boomerang concept heads to auction 16 Jun 2015 (News)
A one-off Maserati concept car will go under the hammer on 5 September. The 1970s angular and sharply styled Boomerang looks set to be the highlight of Bonhams Chantilly sale. Unveiled at the 1971 Turin motor show, the car was designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro and used geometric shapes and ruler-straight lines. The following year, it appeared at the Geneva show as a fully working vehicle. Based on a Maserati Bora, it boasted a normally-aspirated 4.7-litre, 300bhp V8 which was mounted behind the driver. -
Ford Back at Le Mans on Michelin Tyres 13 Jun 2015 (News)
Ford has announced that it will return to Le Mans in 2016 with Ford GTs and Michelin as its exclusive tyre partner. Ford will have two cars at Le Mans as part of the FIA WEC series and in 2016 hopes to enter four EcoBoost®-powered Ford GT cars at the famed endurance race that it won four times consecutively, from 1966 to 1969, with the Ford GT40. -

Warranty Direct has announced a new ‘360’ used car ownership survey and is currently seeking owners to participate. Warranty Direct calls the survey “the most comprehensive, all-round study of UK used car ownership ever conducted.” It’ll use data from more than 50,000 warranty policies along with owners feedback to give a ‘360 degree view’ of ownership. -
Jaguar buys £100m collection of British classic cars 4 Aug 2014 (News)
Jaguar Land Rover has bought the largest privately-owned collection of British classic cars – 543 in total worth an estimated £100m. The collection, assembled over many years by British enthusiast Dr James Hull, features many significant Jaguar models, including XK, SS, C-, D- and E-types. -
