I don't really want to spend the amount of money It'd cost for cross bars and a roof box as it will after this year be used maybe once a year if that and it's also the storage as I have no where to feesabley store a roof box at my house. I was looking on Amazon and they sell roof bags that go on the roof of the car and attach to the roof rales already on the car. -

VW Transporter T4 - Accident Support Company 21 Aug 2015 (Forum)
Now because of this, the 3rd party's insurance are refusing to pay for the courtesy car & my van's storage at the garage. It has now been 39 days since the incident. The courtesy car is costing over £400 a week, the van repairs were quoted as £1600 & the garage storage fees are over £500. -
New Volvo V90 - another badly designed car 24 Feb 2016 (Forum)
The total luggage capacity of the V90 is 1,526 litres (including underfloor storage), my MK1 Focus estate has a capacity of 1580 litres without relying on underfloor storage to make the headline figure. Even by class standards the Volvo's space is paltry. Merc E-class is 300 litres more spacious while the A6, BMW 5 series and the previous V70 all have more capacity Volvo are quite clearly going for style over substance. -

not knowing who was driving 13 Nov 2006 (Forum)
If drivers use the "I really couldn't say who was driving" ruse to try to avoid a scamera ticket, why don't the authorities just impound the car that was caught, and say "OK, we'll keep the car, until you come forward with a name, and tot up an £x a day bill for storage, which will be added to the fine. If the storage costs reach the value of the car, it becomes our property and we sell it and put the money from the sale to good use." Mind you, I suppose scrotes would just get/steal another scrapworthy car, and toffs would just write a cheque for a new one, so it'd only be Mr Average who'd suffer, as usual. -

noisy steering jeep cherokee 3 Feb 2004 (Forum)
Got a fabulous price and the rookie salesman accidentally included top of the range alloys for free. On delivery noticed all four alloys were not perfect and was told they had been in storage for a while and would be re-polished at a later date. Do alloys "go off" in storage or have I been palmed off with a second hand set. In addition alarming moaning/grinding noise sometimes on steering, is this normal for the model or am I being fobbed off again. -
