  Hi Basiclly our last car was a write off after we were smashed into on the motorway a renault megane sport saloon 1.5 DCI We are now looking at the renault Scenic 1.6vvt petrol, 2008 Kia Carnes 2.0 petrol 2008 Cauxhall meriva 1.4 petrol 2008 vauxhall zafira 1.6 petrol 2008 or possible the 1.8 Any feedback on what one is best in terms of reliability if any and any experience or knowledge I ldont have a great knowledge to be ho9nest and each dealer tells you that the others are rubbish and their ar the best

  Ciao from Italy. Im over here now as is my father, who has the latest model Renault Espace. It is nearly 5 years old and has xenon HID headlights. One of them blew on monday, so he went to local official Renault garage who diagnosed a blown bulb. Price of a new BULB only was e385.

  I assume it needs some kind of puller to take it off - and something with pressure to push the new one on ? I'm guessing a special Renault tool ?

  Does andone have a 'New' style {2002 to date} Espace? If so any good? I've also read that the engine is shared with the Nissan 350Z. So is it a Renault or a Nissan unit? Also, a lot of stories about Renault diesel engines packing up after 50,000 {cam bearing failure} etc. Auto parking brake sounds a potential prob too? I only plan to do about 8K miles PA.

  we have a 2006 renault laguna 1.9 diesel estate and we are trying to fit a witter towbar from an identical car but 2005 on to it, do we need any special connectors to fit it or can we just solder the towbar wiring onto the lights wiring loom...thank you

  Hi I have a renault 5 automatic 1990. THe power steering high pressure sensor (that's what the garage said it was) burst spilling pink liquid everywhere - car cannot be driven without a replacement part. Can anyone help regarding finding this part?

  Just changed clutch on Renault Megane 2005 DCi but now do not have a pedal, goes all the way to the floor with little or no resistance. We suspected the M/C so put a new M/C on & vacum bled, ezi-bled & traditional foot pumping method.

  Hi there, i have just bought a renault clio 1.6 16v, the tyre sizes are 185/55 r15 on alloy wheels. However, on the full size spare, there is a 195/55 r15. Am i able to fit 195's to my alloys? Thanks folks

  Just bought a new LHD Renault Espace with excellent xenon headlights. Can anyone explain how I can adjust them for driving in the UK to avoid blinding oncoming traffic? These new style headlights lights seem to move with the steering so the classic solution of beam benders does not appear useable any more.

  The centre dashboard display (LED?) on our Renault Clio has dimmed - the digits (time, temperature, radio station etc) can still be seen but the display is not lit and as fully visible as before. The vehicle is not fitted with a dashboard dimmer switch.
• Diesel fuel filters - Renault 5 Jul 2005 (Forum)
  Since 1996 Renault have extended their change intervals for fuel filters from 18000 to 36000 miles. Is this a result of clean, modern fuels or are they just stretching the interval for the sake of cost ? Can I risk the fuel filter on my 2002 Megane dCi for 36000 mls?
• Chipping a Renault dCi 13 May 2005 (Forum)
  Anyone got any experience of chipping a dCi engine. There is loads of stuff on the internet about chipping VW TDi's but not much on Renaults. A friend is very impressed with my 1.5 100bhp dCi and wondered if his Clio 80bhp could be chipped. I think my dCi has a dual vane turbo which the Clio doesn't but he may be able to increase it to 90bhp.

  I'm trying to find out how to import a left hand drive Renault Megane (new shape - ideally the 1.9 Diesel) to the UK - anyone know of any reputable websites/companies that still import LHD cars? I know most of the big importers used to offer LHD cars (eg Broadspeed) but they no longer seem to do so.
