  It seems a lot of sporty cars are no longer homologated? for towbars and there's no towing weight on V5c then you should not fit one even if you can. I don't really want an SUV or Ford Ranger etc.

  However, I've noticed there is a page on the DVLA website that you can use to notify them online: https://www.gov.uk/sold-bought-vehicle It says "You can’t use this service if you’ve already sent your log book (V5C) by post." so I assume you shouldn't post in the section at all if you use the website. Does this automatically trigger a refund of the unused part of the vehicle tax, or do you need to claim that separately?
