  Disabled bay painted around car A council has apologised to a woman who was fined £60 after workmen painted a disabled bay around her car. When Shirley Hatcher, 67, parked her car in North Road, Southampton, Hampshire, there were no parking restrictions in place. Mrs Hatcher, of Priory Road, said: "I had just gone to the hairdressers and when I returned there was this disabled bay and the £60 fine."

  My 1998 1.1 106 has started cutting out. After being parked for a while (Usually about half an hour). It starts up again fine, but cuts out within a mile or two. It happens on short and longer journeys, but never until after I've stopped. Surely they can't fine me again?!?I did try to pay the clampers straight away so I could move the car into my driveway, was only parked long enough for my sister to move her car out of the way.They refused and wouldn't unclamp it until the next morning so I also had to pay to get a taxi to work and back to my parents house again.I know I was in the wrong and I accept that but surely they can't take any more of my money?!?
