  John Surtees stars in Edenbridge 29 May 2013 (News)
    Leading the way was an Aston Martin Course Car driven by David Barzilay. The vehicles roared through Edenbridge High Street on Monday 27 May for two laps. The event in Surtees' home town was as an attraction to the town to showcase what it has to offer.The two motor cavalcades formed part of the Edenbridge Fun Day, which also had an objective of raising awareness of the activities of the Henry Surtees Foundation.

  Mixed Fortunes for MX5s at Thruxton 15 Jun 2011 (News)
  The electrical fault was traced to water in the MX-5 GT race car’s cockpit, and Owen Mildenhall rejoined the race 15 laps adrift of the class lead. After almost an hour and 10 minutes into the two hour race, the conditions were considered bad enough for the race to finish early and the GT race car finished fifth in class. “Despite adverse weather and Thruxton circuit lending itself to the faster cars on track, we had a great result on Sunday, which is testament to the drivers and the handling and reliability for which the MX-5 is renowned,” commented Graeme Fudge, PR director, Mazda UK.

  SEAT and the Catalan government’s Department of Business and Employment have signed an agreement to train new workers to build the forthcoming Audi Q3 at Martorell.  The agreement will see 1,200 people receive training, leading to the creation of at least 700 new jobs.  The workers will be gradually incorporated into the company, beginning this Spring. SEAT is also considering the possibility of hiring more of the trainees who successfully complete the training programme, depending on the company’s future production requirements.
