Z350 £13,750 at Auction Today 24 Mar 2006 (News)
This RHD 2002 built 42k mile Jap import 350Z automatic had leather and satnav that spoke in a sweet Japanese voice, but seemed to be lost. It sold for £13,750. A 72k mile 03 reg MINI Cooper in red with a white roof but with no a/c or CD player sold for £6,325. A 128k mile 2000W Mercedes S320L went for export for £11,600. A 70k mile 2001/51 facelift BMW 320dSE 150 sold for £7,250. -

The event will also be gathering ten of the most revolutionary British cars from the Queen’s life – one from each decade. Running from the Bentley 3 Litre of the 1920s, through the Land Rover Series I, the Mini and the McLaren F1 - the feature will showcase Britain’s pivotal role in the motor industry. At the event’s heart, though, will be 60 of the world’s most exclusive cars. While the full list is till to be finalised, already confirmed are a one-off art deco masterpiece, the 1937 Hispano Suiza Dubonnet Xenia, and an Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 Zagato, a car which dominated motorsport events of its day. -

Porsches beat Ferraris at Silverstone sale 28 May 2015 (News)
It wasn’t all about supercars though, a one-owner, 3,000-mile Mk2 Escort sold for just under £16,000, and a beautifully restored 1967 Mini Cooper exceeded £30,000. Perhaps the bargain of the day was a 1985 Mercedes-Benz 280SL R107 that sold for just £8,775. That’s just over half the amount that has been spent on the car over the past decade. -
Silverstone Classic attracts bumper club entry 22 Jan 2014 (News)
Organisers have confirmed that 84 clubs have registered online, so their members can join the in-field display parking at what's billed as the World’s Biggest Classic Motor Racing Festival. Among the newcomers are the Rover P6 Club, the Royal Air Force Mini Club and the Berkeley Enthusiasts Club, which will be celebrating its 50thanniversary at the event. These will line up alongside the more familiar massive gatherings of Aston Martins, Bentleys, Ferraris, Lamborghinis, MGs, Morgans, MX5s, and Porsches. -
Beaulieu hunting out TV star cars 9 Dec 2013 (News)
The Grint family bought it after this incident and loaned it to Beaulieu for display. Sharing the spotlight with the Anglia is TV favourite, Mr Bean’s lime green Mini. This particular car was used in the character's third series and made its first television appearance in 1991. Another TV favourite on display is Del Boy’s Trotter Van. Possibly the nation's most famous three-wheel vehicle, this Reliant Supervan (mistakenly referred to as a Robin) featured in the BBC sitcom Only Fools and Horses. -

Mike‘s stand is a mini autujumble all on its own, selling new and second hand car parts, automobilia, workshop manuals, engine gearboxes and axles. Mike has a vehicle recovery and scrap business, based in Southampton, and has been attending the Spring Autojumble for the past 13 years. -
