Toyota Auris Touring Sports - Auris TS hybrid test drive 13 Jun 2016 (Forum)
I noticed that the battery seemed to stay between 80-100% full. This is fine but I was wondering whether I should somehow use more of the range of the battery. My thinking is that surely this means I wasn't using all the battery and was therefore guilty of lugging the battery around and only using a small amount of it. -
Any - Does Start/Stop Technology Really Save any Money? 23 Jun 2014 (Forum)
(C) Are the more robust starter ring, starter motor, larger capacity battery systems and associated monitoring systems as reliable and trouble free as the conventional arrangement, where you can always simply choose to 'turn off your engine' for as long as necessary if 'stuck' in a motorway traffic jam etc. -

Electric & Hybrid Cars 12 May 2012 (Forum)
It was interesting to hear the difference in the sales pitch between the hybrid manufacturers and the electric only, with the hybrid claiming that their batteries would last longer since they were only charged by the petrol / diesel engine and you couldn't abuse the battery by fast recharging from the mains. For the electric only cars, I found the whole concept of recharging interesting. -

Honda Civic 2017 - Warning Lights Pinging on Startup 31 Mar 2023 (Forum)
Without a 100% guarantee of success this is obviously out of the question, Looking on the internet for similar issues some people suggest that it could be battery related (the car is still on its original battery) or possibly down to the alternator. I wondered if anyone else has experienced anything similar. I am quite happy to carry on using it as it drives like a new car but there could be an issue with getting it through the MOT test later in the year. -

Any - Poor breakdown service - Missing the obvious 4 Feb 2020 (Forum)
Some readers will be ahead of me here but the "knocking" would slightly better be described as "clicking". Classic signs of a simple flat battery and relays not holding. A typical breakdown service driveway job if ever there was one. Rather than call out a garage at our expense (if I could find one on a Saturday) and possibly not achieve a fix before tomorrow's sale, I dug out the charger and gave it an hour. -
