  Hello everyone, I hope you may be able to help me out in regards to a fault code on my 2003 Mazda 6 diesel. Recently on Mazda diagnostics a fault code appeared on the computer B1871 - Passenger airbag deactive, module fault Automatically I was told by the mechanic, that'll be £400 odd for a new module, to which I declined as I didnt have that sort of money.

  My Mazda 6 diesel 52 reg started losing power after about half an hours driving and once the engine rose to it's optimum temperature. It would then cut out completely and would not start again until the engine had cooled.

  The garage are trying to log it on the app, but can't get into their side. And don't hear anything from Mazda UK. I obviously can't log the service myself. I've emailed/texted/facebooked/X'd/tried to chat with Mazda; I just cannot get them to respond in anyway. Any ideas? How can I get my service onto their ridiculous app

  https://www.autocar.co.uk/ I was extremely disappointed when the CX-3 was taken off sale, quite why I've no idea, as it's still available in RHD, notably in Australia. Good to see we can now buy a large Mazda SUV, the CX-80, but I do wonder how well it will sell here. Must be said Mazda makes some gorgeous car with some of best designed interiors.

  Hi!! Need some good advice, please.. I have mazda 5 2.0 diesel 2007, just done 76000 and due for cambelt change. Made a quiry in mazda garage, they advice me to change only the cambelt and the hydraulic tensioner as thats the most important thing, but local garage told me to change the whole, which is cambelt kit, 2x pulley, hyd tensioner and cambelt plus the water pump..

  Ive had a recall done that consists of a capacitor between the A/C compressor and the ECU because Mazda found the compressor was sending "bad" voltage spikes to the ECU, causing the thing to shut down. It still stops with the A/C off!! Any clues chaps?

  Surprising to see Mazda s commitment to diesel after all the negative comments reported by owners on this site about major problems whilst shortly out of warranty . Lets hope they have finally sorted the DPF issues as the road tests indicate that the extra power from the diesel gives it the performance lacking in the petrol.
