Opel/BMW choices - Can't decide between 4 cars! 25 Apr 2021 (Forum)
After moving to the UK I am stuck between the Insignia/Astra/1 series/3 series. I am looking at the 2009 onwards Insignia, 2010 Astra and for BMW 1 and 3 series it's the 2004-2012 ones. I will buy a car that is 2010-2012 and less than 80k miles. I have read so much but what makes me dislike the 1 series (despite better drive) is the rubbish old interior, can't even play bluetooth music. -

BMW 2 Series Active / Grand Tourer 8 Jan 2020 (Forum)
I am looking for a replacement to the Tucson and have seen a few BMW 2 Series Active Tourers as pre-reg with some really good discounts. They seem to be a nice mix of non-suv styling and high seating position. I will be looking at automatics and probably the Grand Tourer because they seem to be cheaper than the Active Tourers. -
Best mid-sized auto/diesel SUV under £15k? 29 Oct 2019 (Forum)
Hey all I’ve narrowed down my hunt for a mid sized SUV with the following requirements: - Diesel (I do 13-16k miles/year) - Automatic - Sat nav, xenon, heated seats - Approx £15k budget - Don’t like French, British, Korean or Italian brands I test drove various models and have narrowed it down to: - Mazda CX-5 - BMW X1 - BMW X3 - Nissan Qashqai I’ve been put off by the reliability issues with Qashqai so realistically I think it’s got to be the Mazda or BMW. Which car from the list would you choose or not choose? -

BMW Z4 - Buy/Lease/New/Used 20 Feb 2015 (Forum)
Hi there, I need some advice... I have a 2005 BMW Z4 and it has done about 75k miles, nothing is wrong with it apart from the high milage that I will now be doing to get to work. BMW 1 Series - Intermittent clutch judder 6 Feb 2015 (Forum)
I have had intermittent vibration through clutch pedal for last 18 months but getting worse. Occurs when driving off in first on point of bite.Taken it to BMW dealer a couple of times but have not been able to reproduce it. Stated to notice after software upgrade but this may be coincidence. Can go for days without it happening. Can happen when cold or hot, beginning or during extended journey - or not at all. -
BMW Mini R50/53 2001-2007, Watchdog BBC last night 13 Oct 2013 (Forum)
Anyone catch Watchdog on BBC1 last night? I don't normally make a point of watching it but I switched on after dinner to witness BMW Mini getting a serious kicking from actor Richard E Grant about the power steering failure on his daughter's car, a petrol R50/53 made in 2004. (This was after Grant's much publicised Twitter rant, which got the car fixed free and a bouquet of flowers delivered to the young lady owner). -
BMW 3 Series Coupe - Car Allowance 3 Aug 2013 (Forum)
Hi, I've recently been offered a new position for £38K and option for company car or car allowance [£300]. I don't know how many miles I'll do as I haven't started yet. I'm thinking about buying a BMW Series 3 Coupe 335 petrol as my personal car and I don't mind use it for business purpose at all. I just wanted to ask politely for an advise whether if that's a good idea or not. I normally pay for my petrol and all cost all the time as I've been alwayas self - employed so I appreciate any kind of money back from company towards covering the cost.
