Asymmetrical tyre wear 24 Mar 2001 (Forum)
Fair enough, I suppose, but I was slightly surprised that only significantly more uneven wear would be considered to be a problem. Any opinions on this? Should I be thinking of a trip to Micheldever for a top-grade alignment check before I replace the tyres or am I fretting about nowt? -

Mazda 6 - Womp Womp noise from front of car 17 Oct 2012 (Forum)
The front discs and pads have also been changed which hasnt made a difference. The only thing I have noticed is that the wheel alignment is slightly off as the car pulls off to the left if I let go of the wheel on a straight road. I have had other cars with the alignment out and have never had the noise I am getting now, its not even that far out. -

hash=item3358c83071 but would this only be fitted if the bearing was had it, or do you think it will fix my alignment problem as well. secondly will i have to remove ac, alt, and pas pump to get to it and if so would it be easier to just get the whole bracket including this bit already in it from a breaker, once again many thanks Andy (a qualified but very fresh ford tech) -

PEUGEOT 406 HDI 1.9L - ENGINE LOCKED PEUGEOT 406 HDI 1.9L 5 Aug 2021 (Forum)
However, when the engine is turned anti-clockwise it turns smoothly and through the 4 stages there is compression. Cambelt in order, tdc on crank aligned with mark of cambelt. Could it be a bearing or the oil pump chain jamming the engine turning normally. Not overfilled with oil and oil has done only 75000 kms. I am at wits end. -
Hyundai i10 - Clutch hitting metal plate and steering wheel 22 Nov 2020 (Forum)
Whilst it is touching the meta plate, if I turn my steering wheel, I can feel something grinding against the metal plate (a ball like grinding). Not sure if it’s related but the steering pulls massively to the left and I had the wheels aligned which hasn’t fixed the problem. It’s a Hyundai i10. Would appreciate any thoughts as to what it could be before I take it to a mechanic . -
Any - Headlights 15 Jan 2019 (Forum)
It seems bizarre when driving through town with street lights that oncoming cars have headlights and additional lights that just dazzle oncoming drivers and making it difficult to see beyond the glare this is quite apart from older cars all of which seem to have at least one headlight badly aligned (is this not checked at MOT time) Maybe time to rethink dim dip for town driving. -
Peugeot 208 - Do you think this is repairable? 12 Jun 2018 (Forum)
I have damaged the vehicle in numerous places, but I think the main concern being where the 4x connectors were attached to the car. Each one has been pulled/dented/deep scratched. Door still align, doesn't look like you'll be able to 'suck' damage out! As the damage is on the whole main side panel of the cars (no the doors, but the bit holding doors in place!) is this the sort of thing they repair.. or just write off? -
Ford Fiesta MK4 1.8D - Negative camber after repair 5 Nov 2017 (Forum)
On the suspension the worn parts have been replaced, the tires are new. There was also a wheel alignment. A haven't replaced the shock absorbers. The subframe and the swing arm aren't damaged. On the body there is no sign of damage, which could have happened earlier with the last owner. After these on the right side there is an 1.5 cm and on the left side there is a 2 cm negative camber. -
Mercedes Benz C220 Sport - Tear Wear due to towing a Caravan 21 Jul 2015 (Forum)
The Tyre specialist believes the wear has been caused by towing a caravan as the weight of the caravan on the back has lifting the front wheels, changing the alignment which would cause extra wear on the outer edges Does this sound logical?
