  Hi All First post here so bear with me please. We have a Renault Laguna dti estate which had to be towed home by the AA the other day. Turns out the timing belt had gone, but after some serious discussion with Renault and the Renault garage involved, it was agreed that Renault would cover the cost of replacement since the garage had put on a new belt during servicing 2 years ago.

  Although Renault are offering a contribution to a new gearbox, I am still looking at about £650. Add to this the approx £1000 costs (hire cars, garage bills, lost work) incurred due to the clutch failures (of a Renault part), and you can understand I am a bit p****d off.

  I've got a renault captur through the motility scheme at Arnold Clark.  They have called today to say if I don't allow one of their team to pair my phone to the car it affects the warranty.  Surely this can't be correct?

  Has anyone had any dealings with renaults latest diesel engine the 2.0 dci. Theyre website say that it was co-developed with nissan. Seen a late 07 renault megane GT 2.0 dci 150 for sale although being a renault puts me off, but i hear things have improved alot in recent years??

  I think buyanycar.com's adverts are rather misleading. I wanted to get rid of my wife's Renault 5, old but in very good condition. There best offer was £50.00, however there is a £49.50 service charge, so I would have ended up with £5.00, if I was lucky. The answer is that they are really only interested in buying fairly new cars.

  Hi Guys, i recently bought a 2000 Renault Laguna Sport but there is no manual with it. I have ordered the Haynes, but will that have general info such as what lights mean and tyre pressure. Does anyone know where i can get a replacement manual from.

  Though Renault have admitted that clio's need their bonnet catch checked free of charge at their dealers, has anyone had difficulty claiming back excess insurance monies after the bonnet catch has failed and blown up against the windscreen (not a nice experience)?

  I've tried testing them at home or at the dealer ( always in daylight ) and the angle is fine. Are there known problems with these systems ? the car is a Renault.
