  I want to change my Corolla Verso. I was thinking of upgrading to a 2.2 diesel Verso but have seen the Mazda 5 2.0d which looks good. This would be the main car for a family of 4. Anybody with expereince of running both back to back or any views?

  Service history book stamped at 54,000 on my Mazda mx5 on 53 plate. book and manufacturer states cam belt change to be carried out at this service. garage say only 81 point selling check was done. how do i stand legally? surely this is fraud?

  Hi, Mazda 626 (reg 2000W). Initial gear changing is fine, however as time goes by it becomes more difficult to change at road junctions etc., until first just does not engage. I will have to take it to a dealer, but, would be interested to hear your opinions.

  Anyone changed the battery on a remote locking fob for a 2001 Mazda 323F? Wary in case the coding can be deranged. Getting a spare key coded was a real problem with only a main dealer being competent. -- I wasna fu but just had plenty.

  My father in law is looking for a technical manual for an M reg '94 Mazda 626 as he likes doing his own servicing etc. Looked on ebay and cant find anything suitable. Hope someone can point me in the right direction. Cheers

  My daughter has kerbed her nearside front wheel and knocked the tracking out on her Mazda 3. Where would be the best place to get this corrected - the main dealer or one of the national chains like Quickfit?? Any advice would be much appreciated.

   mazda agree with this and will cover the charges for parts and labour wahoooo :), HOWEVER mazda think that seeing as the car has only done 20k since the last new DPF they  think its a problem with injectors which cost about £600+ each and there are 4 of them little b*****s!!

  Hi All, We have a march 2007 mx5 54000 miles and always serviced by mazda at proper intervals. Car developed a rattle on cold starting one month after warranty ran out. We bought it June 2010  and had a years zoom zoom warranty. Mazda says variable valve timing gear and timing chain are worn and need replacement at a cost of over £1000.

  Has anyone out there had a similar problem? I bought a brand new Mazda ts petrol thats been ticking/clattering since only 800mls. After 5000mls and 5 attempts at repairs they got mazda tech,who finally said it was piston slap! and would recommend a short engine.

  In September this year, I bought a 1 year old Mazda 6 from a UK Mazda dealer. Since then, on 3 separate occasions, I've gone out to the car and found all 4 electric windows completely down. I'm currently having to keep it in the garage at nights and in a secure car park at work until I can get the garage to look at it under waranty.

  I bought my 2005  Mazda MX5 Mk3 2.0 litre sport from a main dealer last April. It has developed a rumbling noise and the steering wheel vibrates when at 40-60 mph. The edge of the doors have also started to rust. Advice please.

  I've read tales of woe about the deisel in the Mazda 6, but I'm trying to bottom out whether the problems also affect the 2.2 version introduced in 2009 or so.  I can see that the 2 litre jobby comes in for plenty of stick re DFP issues.   Thanks, Richard

  Does anyone know if Mk.1 MX5 rear pads will fit our old 323F GT? Some suppliers suggest they will, but my Mazda garage simply says, cryptically, that they have different part numbers. I know this is sort of technical, but it could also be regarded as trivia...
