My father in law is looking for a technical manual for an M reg '94 Mazda 626 as he likes doing his own servicing etc.
Looked on ebay and cant find anything suitable.
Hope someone can point me in the right direction.

My local library has most of the Haynes Manuals - providing no one reserves any particular book you take out (and there's usually more than one copy of the most popular) they can be kept as long as you wish, you can have as many books as you require on loan (used to be limit of 12) and renew them either by phone or online.
I've had the Golf/Bora Haynes manual out for quite some time...:-)

A highly unlikely (inprobable?) scenario, but there's more than one copy of the Haynes available and they can be reserved...:-))

The point I was making is still valid - the library, for the most obvious reason, is the perfect source for such motoring manuals and avoids the cost of buying one, unless you manage to spot the one you want at a car boot sale at a good price.

Besides RF, the manual is also used for servicing as well as repairs. Woe betide anyone should suggest that Stuart's Bora goes wrong, but we have to admit that servicing is a reasonable thing to do to a VW.

I had my Fiesta Haynes manual out of the library from the month after I bought it (August) to the month after I sold it (August) and it never cost me a penny!
If I thought I'd read it, I'd go out and get the Focus one but I fear it would just be used to balance out my bookshelf.

I live in a small town, with a library. They managed to obtain, within days, the official Lotus manual for a series 2(1965) Elan.
I read in the loo because I have a roll of toilet paper with golf jokes printed on it. It takes ages to re-roll it up. Well, you don't want to use it, do you.

If you read down, it's the owner's manual, not the workshop one, so probably Haynes/10 in terms of how useful it is.>>

Sorry, there were Probe dealership workshop ones on there, maybe they still are and I picked the wrong one? These were excellent as long as you have a PC.
