  Three times now on this show we've got footage on national television of these drivers using a phone while driving, why havent they received points and a fine from the Police? Or last weeks Fiesta pleb who refused to wear a seatbelt because 'it creases my clothes.'  When someone took a photo of Clarkson allegedly using a phone while driving the Police opened a case on it.

  The alleged offence occurred on a stretch of road my girlfriend and I had commuted back and forth along to the coast several times. We had shared the driving and neither of us could remember who was driving at the time, neither of us recall seeing a speed camera or seeing a flash. My girlfriend suggested we just put her name down and she take the points, but I really didn't want to give false information.

  This came in hideous orange but was fully kitted out, as it was one of the team cars produced for the now cancelled 2009 landrover g4 challenge. We were given 30 minutes of a tution drive by the instructor, then with him as passenger we were then let loose to drive this thing round the off road course, which we did for about 90 minutes each. Over the log piles, up the big hump, into the stream (now a river) everywhere.

  For long journeys, I fill two insulated mugs with tea, and enjoy being able to take the odd sip when I'm driving in clear conditions. I don't drink when negotiating heavy traffic or hairpin bends, and I drink one sip at a time, replacing the cup after each use. It is only in difficult driving conditions (heavy rain, poor visibility, heavy traffic, narrow roads etc) that I pull over before taking a drink.

  Evening all, Over the last couple of weeks I've noticed my driving getting a bit more...."frantic". I've been getting angry at people and driving pretty fast. Not dangerous but just not particularly polished. I noticed my gear changes getting a lot more jerky because I was rushing to get everywhere really quick.

  Once started, it was always fine for the rest of the day. Possibly related, on two occasions (once after unavoidably driving through a big puddle, the second time when driving while it was raining horizontally) the engine cut out and took another few minutes of cranking to fire up again. I replaced the HT leads and WD40'd everything, but this didn't help, so the car was at a local garage last week to try and fix this.

  I know that this isnt an Audi forum but i had to let someone who might appreciate it know about a recent Audi Drivers day i attended. My friend got a new A4 in March and Audi invited him and a guest to this driving day where you could drive a selection of Audis - Unaccompanied!!! Well i say Unaccompanied. The only accompanied drive was in the New Audi S4. Heres a brief run down, but if you want to know more just ask!

  Worryingly, I found myself a few times commenting in such detail that it was as though I was driving the car by remote control, implying that Nicola was not developing any judgement or hazard assessment of her own. Undoubtedly one of the problems is Nicola's deep lack of interest in cars or motoring.
