Registering car from France in UK 16 Dec 2006 (Forum)
Hi - i've been offered a Peugeot that is French registered (but RHD). How difficult and expensive is it to register it here? I guess it would need to be given a new registration number (age related), and MOT'd. Is it worth it if I get it cheap? -
Pugeot 406 cruise control 6 Jan 2006 (Forum)
I've had a Peugeot 406 for 3 years and the cruise control worked fine, now when I switch it on it works for about 30 seconds and then turns off and will not go again until the engine is restarted and then the same thing happens again. -
indicator sound 12 Nov 2005 (Forum)
Peugeot 407 had weird electronic computer generated sounding indicators. New Mondeo has half decent sounding indicators. Audi S8 R reg had indicators so quiet, you had to struggle to work out if they were on or not. -
Buying Car Fluids Online 29 Oct 2005 (Forum)
Are there any places online that will post car fluids such as coolant, PAS fluid, gearbox oil etc? I detest going to Halfords and always seem to run out of time to go to the Peugeot dealer...for the sake of a few quid P&P this would be much convenient. -

Radiator leak 14 May 2003 (Forum)
My son had a minor radiator leak on his Peugeot 306 Td. He put in a tin of 'RADWELD' which appears to have cured the problem. However I am advised that this is only a temporary solution and a professional repair or a new radiator should be fitted as soon as possible. -

Could anyone out there advise on the recommended coolant concentration for a 96 306dt. I recently asked at a Peugeot garage and was told "about 50%". An answer like that leaves me unconvinced that the person really knew what they were talking about. Thanks in advance. -
Plastic repairs (petrol filler pipe) 18 Oct 2002 (Forum)
Can anyone recommend a product to repair a small puncture hole in plastic of the type used for petrol filler pipes (Peugeot 405 in this case)? The rest of the pipe is undamaged and the replacement part is quite expensive, so I wish to try repairing it first. -
Peugeot 106 - Peugeot 106 - Preheating / cold starting problem 7 Dec 2010 (Forum)
Hi, I have been a passive member of this forum for sometime so am pleased if this thread can be of use to someone else in the future. To set the scene, I have a 1997 Peugeot 106 1.5D, and it has done approximately 110,000 miles without major hiccup to my knowledge. Last year when I had some winter starting problems I went to change the glow plugs and found that one of them had been snapped at the insertion point to the engine, I tried to bore it out but could not and did not want to risk the glowplug element breaking and falling into the engine block. -
