  I am thinking of looking for a 08 or 09 automatic c-max and was just wondering if there is anything in particular that I should be watching out for? as in faults,recalls ect......... I'm in Ireland but I assume faults and recalls would be the same for the UK and Ireland.

  Trying to get rid of spurious traffic announcements from distant stations. I found an adjust menu to allow 'Automatic' or ' Fixed' traffic reports. Anyone else with a recent Skoda sorted this?

  I own a 1.6 automatic 2004 (mk1) focus. I need to buy some new tyres and was wondering if there is a prefered make. I do a lot of miles each year. I heard a rumor that some tyres make a lot of road noise on this car, is this true?

  Can anybody help with my problem- automatic gear box has been slipping- recently started stalling at junctions- toped up the fluid in the gearbox however it will now drive only 10 yards before stopping and will not move for approx ten minutes, any ideas or suggestions,

  I miss the variable speed intermittent wipers - which I thought were the work of genius. My new car has automatic wipers that seem to have a mind of their own and prefer to be on the fastest setting even in light drizzle.... Madness.

  Now is it me being cynical, or a blatant money making exercise, the fact that this is the first year I haven't received my tax reminder for the car ? Nothing to do with automatic fines by any chance ? :o( Is it just my MOT, V5 and insurance certificate I need for one isn't it? I can never remember !

  Does anyone know who makes the automatic transmission used in the Mazda 3? I know the Mazda 6 uses a Ford box and by all accounts it is not a good transmission at all. Does the 3 use the same box? If so it is probably something I should avoid.

  My road tax runs out today and I intend to renew it tomorrow. However I have been told today that if you do not renew by midnight an automatic fine is sent out. Is this correct? If so I only have myself to blame but I thought you would at least get a few days grace?!

  Does a Pug 106 Look 2 (98) automatic rear brake ( Bendix ) adjuster also deal with hand brake cable length, I get the impression it does not as they refer to hand brake cable adjustment ever 12K miles. If so is it the rear or front heat shield that has to come off.
