  See what shows. The misfire continued and he was baffled so the car went to a diesel specialists. Not peugeot main dealer though. They said it had a faulty fuel rail pressure sensor which was replaced. Car ran fine for the 40 mile motorway journey home but misfire came back as soon as we got into traffic and speed dropped.

  Hi guys, I have recently decided to bring my old Peugeot 205 XS back to life after roughly 2 or 3 years of sitting around collecting dust (amonst other bits of green bits!!). I know for a little while before it was parked up, it seemed to pass a very small amount of oil into the water and also a little bit of oil into the spark plugs on the 2nd and 3rd bore.

  Unfortunately, the moron behind drove right up behind to within about 2 feet of her rear bumper and blew his horn. Mrs Peugeot remained where she was, indicator still on, forcing the car behind to reverse so he could overtake. After reversing he set off so quickly that he took a much wider than needed course past the Peugeot, forcing an oncoming car to clip the kerb to avoid him as he blew his horn yet again.

  We currently have just over £8k of that we can access by the end of next week, and I have today seen a Peugeot 2008 1.5 Deisel at a local car sales place. Have looked at MOT history and can see that due to recent fail, has had N/S front suspension joint replacement.  Advisory that shows likely that O/S is likely to go same way in not too distant future.

  Hi, this is the second Peugeot that I've owned (the previous being a 2008) in which the engine cooling fan (I assume that's what it is!) comes on frequently, and stays on for a while after turning the ignition off. Previously, it seemed to happen when I made two journeys close together, as if it hadn't had a chance to fully cool down between trips (and yet I could make one really long trip and it didn't happen.)

  Hi this is my first post to the forum. I am the owner of a Peugeot 406 Hdi 136bhp 2.2 executive estate car. The Engine management light comes on and display states that there is a anti pollution fault. The car will then begin to run in a limp setting as it will continue to run but with less power if that makes sense.The eloy fluid was filled up t maximum about 2000 miles ago and since I have only filled the car up with diesel to maximum on each fill up as instructed by mechanic.

  Hi Backroomers! long time no speak! I currently have a Peugeot 3008 1.6 diesel 2013 plate with 96k on it. I bought it 5 years ago with 30k on it and its been a cracking car! The time is coming up change the car maybe a little later in the year. Budget beteen 14k and 18k, Must be an Automatic for the mrs to drive too.

  The difference for both cars is only about 2 mpg but the south to north is always better. As a matter of interest the Peugeot gave better overall mpg than the Fiat by a couple of mpg. I'm looking forward to any theories.

  Hi guys, I would like to buy a cheap used car and the majority of cars that I can find within my budget are Peugeot(2006-2011), Vauxhall Astra and Corsa(2005-2010), Ford Fiesta (2005-2011) and Ford KA (2005-2010) I am not really bothered about speed and aesthetics, all I care about is it being able to handle long journeys without problems that generally come up with cheap cars like Citroen.

  A mechanic gave me advice on what to do, open the bleed screws and let air and water drain, but I've forgotten specifically what he said. Where can I find the bleed screws on a 2005 Peugeot 206(1.4 L Petrol) and what should I expect to see when I open them?  I've googled this, but all of the methods of getting air out of the system seem to vary so much.   Hi I have a Peugeot 3008 2011 1.6 HDI SPORT I have had a problem with the air bag light coming on and off sometimes could drive for 30 minutes and it comes on or it could be when the heaters are on full. I have changed my car battery has the old one was very low on voltage and thought this was the problem I have had the error read and it comes up with Level 1 driver airbag fault high stop distance ?
