  2003 2.5tdi {this information added to subject header, as per the requests you missed!} 65000 miles before going on holiday to ireland got car serviced at local audi dealer. Under warranty they changed waterpump and I agreed to timing /cam belt change. Car began cutting out at low revs on the way to holyhead ferry. I called the dealer who thought it might be fuel contamination.

  I have a 2003 (53 plate) Audi 1.9 TDI (100bhp) which has done 32,000 miles. All was well until about 2 months ago, when it suddenly cut out when travelling at approx. 30 mph. It was worrying because not only did I lose engine power, but I also lost the power steering along with the electrics.
