  • Peugeot 307 SW (2002 - 2008) - 2002, 2.0 HDI (FAP) Lights flicker, Relay clicks 10 Apr 2008 (Forum)
And seems to last 12-13 miles or so before the clicking/flickering/very slightly rough running stops. It didn't happen when I took it to peugeot and there were no error codes ! Any idea's ? I thought it might in some way be related to the regen of the FAP but why this would effect lights and the BSI I would have no idea. Cheers Steve

  • Peugeot 406 14 May 2007 (Forum)
I have a mixed bag of electronic faults on my Peugeot 406 sedan. It's a 2.0L petrol from 2003. Here is a brief summary of the faults: 1. Speedometer stops working intermittently. It will stop working while driving and start again of its own accord.
  • Peugeot 406 stalling during warmup 20 Jun 2005 (Forum)
Here?s a puzzling one. The engine on my Peugeot 406 2.0 (1998/S) petrol runs fine when cold, and when very hot, but during the warm up period there is a nasty period when it stalls, falters when driving off, flat spots and is generally unhappy.
  • peugeot 306 central locking, please help 5 Jun 2005 (Forum)
hi this is a long story but please bear with me as unless it is solved i am about ready to burn the car! right my central locking on my '96 peugeot 306 1.9td 3 door is playing up, basically if you press down the passenger button the boot and drivers door go crazy repeatedly locking and unlocking, they then stop but start again after a short interval. if the passenger button is left up then nothing happens. if the drivers button is pressed down then only that door locks. i have checked and repaired the wiring in the drivers door and still no success. i have located the central locking control unit but it is different to all the others ive read about in other threads/forums it is grey and only has one connector on it, which is orange but most others are said to have 2 connectors, 1 white 1 black. i have tried shorting out all the wires suggested to disable the auto unlock feature to no avail and am now totally frustrated with the car. if you use the remote to lock the car it just locks and unlocks the boot/drivers door the passenger door seems to be dead, ive checked the wiring it's fine and something must be happening as when you push it's button down it triggers the other door/boot does anybody have any suggestions that may help?
  • Peugeot 306dt low compression 23 Jan 2005 (Forum)
I have a '95 Peugeot 306 dt which has suffered from poor starting for a long time. The car starts, but runs very rough for around 30s from cold. When warm the car drives ok. After trying and failing to find air leaks in the fuel system,I booked it in with a diesel specialist who has said the fuel system is fine but has diagnosed low compression (270psi) on one of the cylinders.

  • Peugeot 206 SW trim quality (+C3 trim) 23 May 2002 (Forum)
Had the chance to inspect a 206 SW at rest in a Peugeot main dealer showroom while waiting for courtesy transport home the other morning. I don't like to knock PSA products as I think they are, in general, practical, nice to drive and excellent value for money.

  • Peugeot 308 - HPI Check Wrong, Car Turned out to be CAT D 9 Sep 2017 (Forum)
I also perform a new HPI check, and this new one says the car's number plate was recorded as written-off in December 2014 (4 months before I bought it and did my first HPI check), but the model recorded was a Peugeot 309 XSI (a car from the 1980s). The correct model is Peugeot 308 Then Autotrader get back to me saying they think there's been a mistake, but MIB get back to me and say the insurer thinks they've got it right and it's just the model of car they made a mistake with.
  • Peugeot Partner - HELP !...I've bought a vehicle that was on finance 8 Aug 2016 (Forum)
All was ok until 2 weeks ago a couple of guys called at my house working for Peak Collections ltd, I was not at home so they managed to get my phone number and called me to inform me that they were working on behalf of peugeot financial services and that £7500 was still outstanding on the vehicle. At the time I bought it I did do a basic hpi check to ensure it had'nt been stolen, written off...etc but crucially I did'nt do the outstanding finance check as I was buying from a large company that had been around since 1985.

  • Peugeot 206 - Peugeot 206 gear change problem 2 Oct 2014 (Forum)
I took every part of the gear linkage system from the gear stick to the gear box apart, cleaned the joints, added lots of new grease - the gear stick is much less floppy, but it can still be difficult to get into gear. I bought another clutch cable from the local Peugeot dealer (which was different to the one the Glasgow mechanic had put on) and put that on the car - no difference. It is difficult (sometimes impossible) to select some gears - it doesn't seem to make any difference if the engine is running or not.
  • Not your usual dilemma! 12 Nov 2004 (Forum)
Need to get rid of the Peugeot because it's doing my head in and I hate driving it. Had decided to push the boat out and try to get a 1999/2000 Golf TDI. More expensive than I thought though. Maximum budget including the part ex of the peugeot is really about £5k for a replacement for the peugeot.
