I’m thinking of buying a three year old car priced at around £25,000. How can I find out what was the original sale price when it first came on the market-new- in 2020. Is there an app/website guide that will tell me this ? Thanks -

car names 3 Oct 2006 (Forum)
Something i've just picked up from the Corrolla thread... anyone know the daftest name for a car........ or unlikely spin off when translated into another language for example, the old war story about the Pajero/Shogun............with Pajero apparently meaning a very rude word in Spanish....(no idea if it's true) -
Honda Servicing 29 May 2003 (Forum)
In HJ's book and car-by-car breakdown, HJ says all Hondas should be serviced by the franchised dealers etc. For 3/4 year old Honda cars is this really necessary? Is the VTEC engine really that technical? I have a good local garage with experienced reliable mechanics who charge £45 an hour. -
Electric Cars 14 Aug 2001 (Forum)
Kind of a follow on from the pervious note (lpg). Two questions really; 1) What's the state of progress and usability of electric cars these days ? 2) Are they really better than other fuels when you include generating the electricity, making the battery, disposing of old batteries etc. etc. ? M. -
Down the pub.................what car do you drive 3 Dec 2011 (Forum)
I drive a Great Wall Voleex. That's going to be rather confusing. It looks to me like an old Yaris, with a facelift malfunction. http://www.autocar.co.uk/News/NewsArticle/AllCars/260203/... -

Ford Explorer - Stepping into the world of EVs 6 Aug 2025 (Forum)
Bought a 6 month old Ford Explorer Premium Extended Range RWD last week, to replace my 5 year old Puma. The Puma was a great car, bought at 3 years old. The only downside to it was that I struggled to get comfortable in the seat on long journeys, the seat base is very flat… As I cover about 25k a year, it gave me a reason to look for another car, I generally only keep cars a couple of years and had the Puma seat been better, I could have seen myself keeping it a bit longer than usual. -

Irrational fondness 21 Jul 2008 (Forum)
I should probably have changed my car quite a while ago. I have even posted on here recently about some possible replacements. My car is by no means a collectors item. It is a relatively humble six year old, 150k Mondeo Ghia X diesel Estate. -
Car documents still show registered keeper as previous keeper - how can I change this? 12 Jan 2013 (Ask HJ)

Mercedes-Benz C-Class Estate - New wheels 18 Jul 2025 (Forum)
The seats are soft and comfortable, the gear change smooth and it feels like it’ll be a good place to sooth away longer runs in which is really what it’s for. It’s much more refined than the old Avensis and far more efficient. It’s also been very well cared for with only one minor scratch that is really hard to spot. The car is very pleasing to look at inside and out. However I don’t think the quality behind the scenes is as good as the old Brit built Jap car. -
