Should I SORN my old motorcycle that hasn't been taxed since 1999?
I have an old motorbike registered in 1994 but not taxed since 1999 (I think that was the last date it was taxed). I bought it in 1999 to do track days on and have never used it on the road since. I don’t think DVLA know about the bike as I stopped getting tax reminders many years ago. Obviously I never taxed it but now SORN is in effect where do I stand legally? I never received a SORN reminder for it when SORN came in. Am I illegally keeping the machine?

You have to SORN it because it was last taxed a year after the cut-off date for SORN exemption.
