Ford Focus 1.0 Ecoboost 125 Titanium - Test Drive Car not available ? 18 Feb 2013 (Forum)
Obviously I refused this offer. I telephoned another dealer and arranged a test drive there within the hour. completed the test drive, sorted out the money side and ordered the car. I just can't believe that a dealer would loan out a vehicle which was booked to be test driven on the same day resulting in a loss of nearly £18K -

Toyota Carina E (1992 - 1997) - Unique driving style 13 Sep 2007 (Forum)
hi I have a Toyota Carine E , 1.6 GS , on this (Honest Johns ) website review it says the following about the way to drive it to get the legendary 40 mpg around town out of it : "Lean-burn engines require unusual economy driving style of high revs with small throttle openings - not holding high gears. " I have been getting lousy mpg with this car around , I put 20litres in and only managed 128 miles which is about 29 - 31 mpg around town , can anyone describe what the above means in terms of driving this car? -

Sat Navs 2 Oct 2022 (Forum)
Can anyone recommend a good Sat Nav to download on an android phone? It would need to include driving lanes and instructions on which lane to use as on my last drive on the mainland, I got a PCN for driving in a Bus Lane. Living on the Isle of Wight where there aren't any bus lanes and or motorways - other than half a mile of dual carriageway, doesn't equip me for mainland driving, so looking for advice on a really good sat nav. -

Does anybody know the correct legal position regarding old green paper driving licences? My licence is of this type however recently somebody told me that this is no longer legal (I am not sure if this is for ID purposes or for driving legal purposes) and that I need to get a card type which is what is issued now, however, to do this I will have to pay a fee!
