  Low-mileage Mercedes SL500 set for Coys Spring Sale 5 Apr 2017 (News)
  A low-mileage Mercedes is set to go under the hammer at Coys Spring Sale in London later this month. The 1996 Mercedes-Benz SL500 has been stored in a garage in Knightsbridge and heads to auction on Wednesday, 12 April.

  These include a 1997 Jaguar XJ220 S Spec, two Ferrari 599GTBs, a 1933 Lagonda 3 litre tourer, a 1995 Chrysler Viper Venom, a rare ‘barn find’ 1972 BMW CSL for restoration, a 1961 Cadillac Eldorado convertible and a rather nice 1993 Mercedes Benz W124 320E convertible. Historics XJ220 isn’t just any old XJ220. It has been converted to S Spec by Don Law Racing, has a modified fuel system and has been dyno tested to over 680HP.

  A pair of German touring car legends will go under the hammer at this year's NEC Classic Motor Show auction. The 1990 BMW E30 M3 Sport Evolution (Evo III) and a 1990 Mercedes-Benz 190 E 2.5-16 Evolution II will be sold by Silverstone Auctions sale on 12-13 November. The limited edition 1990 BMW E30 M3 Sport Evolution (Evo III) is one of only 600 M3 Sport Evolutions built in late 1989 and early 1990.

  Unimog: Behind The Wheel 13 May 2013 (News)
  It's undoubtedly a proper workhorse and a machine designed for all conditions but the Unimog hasn't always been all work and no play. In the mid 90s a Unimog was used as a mobile disco in Japan and prompted Mercedes-Benz to launch the Funmog. Proving that German's really do have a sense of humour the Funmog was a glitzed up version of the Unimog complete with chrome trim, body stickers and bull bars. There's still a similar version now – the Unimog Black Edition with 286PS and 1100Nm of torque plus the entertainment and sat nav system from the Mercedes-Benz S-Class.

  World’s finest car set for Hampton Court Palace concours 23 Apr 2018 (News)
  A Pebble Beach Concours-winning classic is making its first appearance in the UK for 60 years. The best-in-show winning 1929 Mercedes-Benz S Barker Tourer ‘Boat Tail’ will be a part of this summer’s Concours of Elegance.  The Mercedes, which can arguably call itself the world’s finest car, will be at the Hampton Court Palace event on 31 August to 2 September.

  Addison Lee Adopts Michelin Only Tyre Policy 24 Jun 2014 (News)
  Until recently Addison Lee used mid-range tyres on its 4,700 vehicles, but after testing Michelin tyres on eight cars, including a Ford Galaxy and Mercedes-Benz S-Class, Fleet Manager Rob Daniels has implemented a full Michelin policy. Mr Daniels said: “We were getting at least eight per cent longer from the Michelins than any others – that’s a difference of 10,000 miles on our Galaxy and even more on the S-Class.

  Lamborghini Diablo VT heading to auction 9 Oct 2017 (News)
  The 1994 car, a one-owner 8500-mile example could fetch as much as £160,00 when it is offered for sale at Historics’ 25 November auction at Mercedes-Benz World, Brooklands. The four-wheel drive supercar was ordered in London, but the new owner collected it from the factory in Italy. Spec includes active suspension, rear wing and Kevlar seats.
