  Read all the posts about the ECU cover chomping through the loom and checked this, 1 wire bare but not cut, could have been sending to earth so not helpful ( really stupid cover design Renault a monkey could have forseen issues there !). Cleaned 3 relays behind headlight and all this made no difference at all :( . Started thinking Lambda, ECU, Crank Sensor, Loom , you know all those lovely things Renault would charge an arm and a leg for but stopped and went right back to basics, car starts fine with no engine light on, runs like a lumpy pig so going back the days before ECU's and Laptops I would have said H.T lead or maybe coil so checked out a part number with Europarts as the coil pack and leads are one unit and priced at £28.00 thought its worth a go before we get into Diagnostics mumbo jumbo where you pay and don't always get the correct answer !

  I want to purchase a used estate car. My last car was a Renault Clio estate 1.5 90 hp, which was reliable and with reasonable running and maintenance costs. I need something bigger, roomier and more powerful.  My budget is quiet low though. What i can afford is cars like Skoda Octavia SW 1.0 TSI (before 2020) and Peugeot 308 SW 1.5 130hp.

  I couldn't be bothered with the hassle of changing tyres/wheels twice a year so wondered if 'All Season' tyres are better than normal ones when snow is on the ground.   Hi  I need a new 7-seater - my company car allowance will get me upto about £30K I've had Renault Grand Espace (2001) and Toyota Previa (2005) in the past and am a big fan of BIG.  Neither of these seem to be made anymore and the only big one left seems to be the Chrysler GV which seems to be on its last legs (and is horrible for car tax with 207 gms of CO).
