Any - Castrol oils (relatively) cheap at Tesco - craig-pd130

Our local Tesco is selling Castrol Magnatec 5W30 full synth, ACEA C3 spec for £10 per litre or £18 for a 2-litre bottle, which isn't a bad price for a topping-up bottle for many modern petrol-engined cars.

I got a bottle for our stable of Corsa E 1.4s.

Specs are ACEA C3, API SN/CF, GM dexos2, MB-Approval 229.31/229.51, VW 502 00/ 505 00, BMW Longlife-04 and Renault RN 0700/0710.

(NB - I do not work for Castrol or Tesco.

Doesn't seem that cheap to me, I bought 5 litres of Millers Trident to those specs the other day for £21.

My local Hyundai dealer sold me Shell fully synthetic top spec oil for £7 a litre when I bought oil and filters to service my car.

£19 for 5 liters ebay is what I did 6 months ago..
