  i have a 1.9 td Peugeot 306 and i removed the fuel filter and now it will not start have tried to bleed the pump but not to sure on what to do next to get it going please help

  Some here may remember my saga of the irremovable Peugeot wheel locking bolt, renowned (and perhaps welcomed) in the trade as sometimes needing welding expertise to extract.  (Memo to Peugeot - learn from Ford).   After its recent oil change, I noticed a small circle of oil on the ground under the sump - so I tightened the plug a bit more.

  i feel my legs soo cold as not enough or not strong enough heat comes out  is any way to improve this or i have to live with it like this? guys you know all about peugeot i got very good help to my other problems so as usual any help is much apreciated that brings me closer to a good result. i really enjoy this car so far my first peugeot 406 but find these little problems much more difficult and pain to cure it than changeing any parts on car and hard to find a good mechanic to fix it thanks,kuntics1

  I've heard all the stories regarding the wet belt engine, etc but I plan to get it serviced by a Peugeot dealer yearly so I'm not overly worried about that.  Thoughts? Any of you own a 2008?

  Hello all, Today after work in parking garage my car (Peugeot 508) had difficulties starting. After few tries I had succeded but after 5 minutes of driving the was an erroor (engine fault) and I needed to stop. After 4 minutes I tried to start the engine but it failed, but it didn't schow any errors.

      Hi My Peugeot 307 SW 1.6 Petrol Auto 2005 won't start when temperature is 2-3 degrees or less.  Will start with continuous excessive revolutions of starter motor and will idle very slowly, no lights on, unable to move gearshift and throttle pedal is inoperative.

  After 5/6 weeks of a crunching reverse gear my 107 was diagnosed by main Peugeot dealer as needing a new clutch. £540 lighter, there are times now when the car makes exactly the same sound (although not as often).  Been back in secveral times.........I have now been assured by the main dealer and Peugeot UK that this is normal for a 107, and they all make that sort of sound.

  Hello   We recently became the owners of a peugeot 307 2004. It has just in the past week been MOT'd, serviced and had a cambelt change. Since the day we got it, the oil light and stop light has been flashing randomly for about a second, then going off.

  Please can anyone help.   I have a Peugeot 406 HDi 2.0 Glx (2001 Saloon).   When driving, lately there is a loss of power, and I get an "Airbag Warning" displayed on my multifuctions display, and the Battery, Handbrake and Oil lights illuminate on the dashboard, and also the Speedometer, Rev Counter, and Water Dial shoot to 0.

  Hi I have a 2002 Peugeot 307 hdi, which is having problems starting along with the message Anti Pollution fault (always when starting) popped to the local garage and he said something about fluid needing changing and that only peugeot dealers can do this he also warned me it was mega expensive - can anyone clarify the problem a bit more for me ?

  hi, just bought a peugeot 206 1.1l petrol y reg. i have had it less than a week and already the engine management light has come on i have beeen told on these cars they always come on for no reason most the time just wondered how true this was i took it back  to the garage where they connected it to a machine now the light has gone out . also the engine seems noisey i dont know if this is normal i used to have a ford fiesta 1.2 so dont know if its just the different engines or what . if anyone out there knows about these cars please help as i am now thinking i have paid lots off money for a dud car
• Potential fire hazard - Peugeot 406 24 Apr 2001 (Forum)
  It happened to me with the zip fastener on a jacket I was wearing falling in and heating red hot, with sparks emitting from the socket. It could cause fatalities if the driver, distracted by such a fire, lost control. Peugeot don't seem particularly interested. Do any Peugeot 406 owners know of a similar problem, or have had the same experience? I'd like to hear from them.

  Peugeot state that the AT fluid is not a service item and never needs to be changed.  Ok,  Peugeot know more about cars than me but to my mind this is a risk given the price of a replacement gearbox.
