• Citroen C4 Picasso 7-st (2007 - ) - towbar kits 28 Feb 2008 (Forum)
  I want to fit a towbar to my C4 GP Citroen. Do I need to have a specialised wiring kit or can I use the normal kit with a by-pass relay. Read various things on Google, but it confusing.

  Anyone know if a 96 Citroen ZX TD with the twin headlamp system, has any relays or the provision for relays to be fitted in the fuse/relay box. As some cars I know they don't have relays, but you can remove a link in the fuse or relay box and fit a relay as an upgrade.

  I have a citroen berlingo diesel van year 2001 the fuel gauge is very eratic all the time and moves all the time very fast Have been told it may be the PCB behind dash but i do not think this is the problem Can any one help please Martin

  my mate has a F reg citroen AX and the petrol gauge is not working. where can he begin to check where the fault lies? i'm thinking along the lines of checking the wiring between the gauge and the tank, but could it be something as simple as a blown fuse?

  Citroen ZX TD estate, 1995. The rear fog lamps aren't working (well, one does sometimes if you kick it!) and I can't see how to get at them. The Haynes manual and owners manual don't help. The lamps are buried in the plastic bumper.

  Why is it that citroen have the same offers all the time but just rotate the name of the offer while the price stays static. I know they do it for marketing hype and have given their cars a huge RRP just to knock it down, but surely if they keep on doing the same thing every month it will turn into the boy that cried wolf.

  does anyone know if i can use straight veg oil to run my citroen zx 1.9d on, i know u can with the boshe fuel pumps but im not so sure about the lucas/cav one which i have? the seals might go in it

  A French consumer programme, mentioned in the Citroenian magazine, revealed that the cars leave the factory with their tyres pumped up way over normal pressure, and the dealers don't always remember to let them down again... Citroen dealers, eh? :-)

  On a journey on Wednesday the car became completely undriveable, I called out Citroen Assist (RAC) who diagnosed the flat spot, and they towed the car to the nearest Citroen dealer, which happens to be the same one I bought the car from. Citroen Assist gave me a hire car. The Citroen dealer called me on Thursday to say there are "absolutely no faults" with the car, despite the RAC man confirming the flat spot to them.

  Hello folks The wife has a2006 Citroen C2 1.1 petrol and for a while it has I've thought it a bit underpowered on the odd occaision I've driven it. I thought it might just be the contrast with my own car. On a couple of longer journeys recently the "stop, engine overheat" light has come on.

  This is an intermittent fault and does not happen every time I start the car, only first thing in the morning. Citroen have had it in for a diagnosis and said it needs further investigation, about 2 hours worth, and quite possible will need a new gearbox, which is going to be a 10 hour job and luckily it's under a dealer warranty, but was wondering if this has happened to anyone else?

  2- reliability - can't afford to get stung with a car with lots of issues and costs 3- running cost - need a diesel because I need over 54 mpg and low tax etc So I have identified either the Ford Focus C-Max - c. 2007 model, 1.6 tdci. Or the Citroen Xsara Picasso - c. 2008 model 1.6 HDi Anybody know which is the better buy? They both come with c. 60,000 at that price. The citroen being a year newer. My concerns with citroen are the reliability issues.

  Hi, I have a citroen C8 hdi 2.0l 2005 and the engine has started cutting out since i had the clutch changed.  sometimes it judders, almost like i am in too high a gear, but if i drop downa  gear it is clearly revving high.

  My Citroen Xsara had been running fine even up until last night. Today it just won't start, brand new battery 3 weeks ago. Turns over but just won't fire, getting diesel upto the injectors. Even with easystart it tries to fire but won't run.

  Hi..   I have a problem with my Citroen C3 (2003) 1.1 The car starts and runs fine.. however if its from cold or been standing for 10-15 mins then it cuts out when pulling away.. or if you do get a way the ignition just cuts out and it stalls..

  Half asleep this morning I caught the fag-end of a news report on BBC TV news that Citroen were going to 'make the DS again'. Nothing on the Citroen web-site but I do remember seeing some scoop photos in a French car mag a year or so ago, which I dismissed as nationalistic overload on the part of the journalists.

  List price for all of this was £17,870 (scary for a Citroen!). I've been offered £2000 for my 156k VW Passat 1.9TDi 'S', which is a 1997 model on a 'R' plate. Incentives include £1600 cashback from Citroen, and the dealer has offered to throw in metallic paint for free, along with another £300 off for good measure.
