96 1.8i can't find grommet to engine compartment - ---daf---
Hi

Can anyone advise me where to find the grommit to feed wiring to the engine compartment in a citroen xantia please? I dont really want to start drilling holes.

I'm pretty sure there aren't any. You might be able to tap a supply off the back of the fusebox.

Its a LHD converted to RHD it must have some I looked under the bonnet of my neighbours and I saw a few ways to get a cable to the cabin.

When I wanted to run a 4 AWG cable for a boot mounted amplifier I ended up going from the battery via the left wheel arch and then into the cabin. I couldn't find another way despite looking for ages. The wheel arch liner has to be removed whilst routing the cable though.
